holiday part 2: Malang- Surabaya!^^

WOHOOOO....!!!!!!
Long time no write on my blog. now, I'll show u my late post ( verryyyy late post!) about our holiday in 2012. :')

We were having our holiday coz our division were attending the wedding party of our head office's daughter in Surabaya. As a bonus (may be) from our division leader, so he paid all the cost for going there!! Yepee!!

and in a March of 2012 (i forget when it was exactly, but it was 2 years ago!), the first day from 3 days tour was begun.

1st Day Tour
As Our first destination in East Java is Malang City. But before we go there, from Palembang, we had to transitted in Soekarno-Hatta airport, Jakarta.

We used Garuda Airlines from Palembang-Jakarta-Malang for our convenience. (the exactly reason was because we were with our bosses, absolutely they wouldn't choose another flight)
It was shocked me, that it took about 1 hour 35 minutes for flying from Jakarta-Malang, more than Palembang-jakarta (55 minutes)

MALANG

We're safely arrived at Malang city, and was picked by our tour agent by bus from the airport and we were directly went to KUSUMA Agrowisata. Picked some strawberries and Apple Malang. It's so refreshed us after having a jet lag.

From Kusuma Agro wisata, we were having our lunch at Joglo Dau, an artistic restaurant with traditional Java concept.

in This Restaurant, we have traditional food, such as the famous food from Yogyakarta, GUDEG, is young jackfruit which are cooked with some seasonings and spicies and cooked till it has a dark brown colour. It taste sweet and tasty. The foods in this restaurant are delicious.

After that, we have a trip to Jatim Park II!!!!!!

Still in Malang City, we came to Jatim Park II, but we're not go to the playing park, we go to the Batu Secret Zoo. Before we enter the gate,we took some pictures in front of a 'Looks-like TREE' hotel. It's such a big tree! The architect should have to be appreciate a lot for this awesome design.

And here we are! BATU SECRET ZOO in Jatim Park II!^.^

There so many animals here! The Last time I went to the zoo may be when i was in 2nd grade of Elementary School, a zoo in Jakarta, Ragunan Zoo. So when we're here, saw many animals, we're so excited!:D

In Front of the main Entrance Gate, there's some Arabian Statue. They're my friends who took pictures with these statue.

After we have visitted Batu Secret Zoo, we also take some photos in front of MUSEUM SATWA. It is beside the Batu Secret Zoo.

we didn't come into Museum Satwa, cause it was getting dark and we have our "own time" for night.
We checked in Sahid Hotel in Malang about 8PM . Some of us took a rest time, but we,,,, Guess what we did?
We took a shower and after that, we went to MOG! The biggest mall in Malang, but it was night over, some of the store in the mall was closed. Hence, we still bought something. :D

2nd Day Tour

 We woke up at 6 am for took a shower and having our breakfast, and should checked out at 8 am. The foods of Sahid Hotel for our breakfast was good. They served some juices, coffee, tea, toast, crumble egg, many kinds of porridge, fried rice, and also some bread and cakes.

We continue our 2nd day tour,visitted the SELECTA! we can say it is a botanical garden, where you can find many kind of beautiful flowers are growwing here. It was so beautiful landscape.

OMG! Is that a Dinosaurs? Yep, it's a replica of a Dinasaurs. The replica is so high. may be 25 meters height.

We didn't take many photos here or looking around cause the rain was heavy. Those photos was taken before the rain fell.
After from Selecta, We went to Surabaya!
let's say "Bye,Malang!"

SURABAYA

When you go from Malang to Surabaya, you will pass Sidoarjo. For Indonesians, you already know about "Lumpur Sidoarjo", right? We visitted the place where "Lumpur Sidoarjo" is.  It was so sad to see the reality. Many people of Sidoarjo city has left that place. And do you know that The Levee which relocate the hot mud will be elevated per year cause the hot mud will also increase. The last time we saw, the mud has covered the houses of many people in Sidoarjo. Can you imagine how sad they are? Losing their house, job, and may be their families. As a citizen of Indonesia, I'm really disappointted with the goverment who made this case as a National disaster while everybody knows that it was caused by an unresponsibility act by a private company (you know who)

Still in Sidoarjo, there is an area where a Leather goods made, Tanggul Angin. In a store, we are shopping many kind things made from leather. We ddidn't take any photo here, cause we forget everything when we we were focusing with our shopping bag. hahahahah...:D (Many womens did it too i think)

From Tanggul Angin, we were finally in SURABAYA!!! Yeayyy!:D
in Surabaya, we stayed in Tunjungan Hotel Surabaya. It's right beside the Tunjungan Plaza Surabaya. We arrived at 9 p.m. And we got room in 7th floor. Me and my partner,Juwita Nirwana, shared the same room, right beside Wenny and Nita's room. It was good for us, cause when we need something, we can knocked the other room's door.:D

No need to wait for a long time, me and partner immediately went shopping to the next building, Tunjungan Plaza!! Tunjungan Plaza is a big mall. 4 towers! May be it's like Grand Indonesia in Jakarta. We shopped in "the Little Thing he needs" and bought some stuffs there. and also, bought a children's dress for my partner's nephew.
We didn't have any time for shopping, cause the mall almost closed. And we had wasting our time in losing our way. T.T
Sadly, but trully, we almost stay in that mall! The main door of this mall was already closed!
We was showed by the securities another door to exit. The mall closed at 10p.m. Hahahaha...
I suggest you, never go  shopping  at 8 pm.! cause may be after looking around, you'll need more than 2 hours for shopping! Moreover, you go to Tunjungan Plaza, and you are  a tourist like us, you need to find the right way, cause if u don't, u'll be lost and may be u will be in the next tower.
And now, we arrived in our room, and let's sleep!........

3rd Day Tour.


Today we'll present the wedding of our boss' daughter. Today was AKAD NIKAH (Wedding ceremony), which was held in the Bride's home.
The Wedding ceremony was started at 9 am.
We woke up at 5 am, We alternately took  bath. And when we had make-up, the door was knocked. They were weny and nita, confused with what they would wore, and what should they did with their hair. Me? I also didn't have any idea. May be it's because we are not  "a party goers". But I have my Curling iron. Hahahahaha.... Trust me, curly hair will save you from "having no hair-idea" for a party.
9 a.m. we were in the location which was the wedding ceremony was held.

After the wedding ceremony had done, we went back to hotel and we was given an hour to change our clothes and take a rest.
About, 12 a.m. We were having our lunch, till 1 p.m. And after that,we went to SURAMADU BRIDGE!
Suramadu bridge.
According to Wikipedia, The Suramadu Bridge (Indonesian: Jembatan Suramadu), also known as the Surabaya–Madura Bridge, is cable-stayed bridge between Surabaya on the island of Java and the town of Bangkalan on the island of Madura in Indonesia. Opened in June 2009,  the 5.4-km bridge is the longest in Indonesia and the first bridge to cross the Madura Strait. The bridge was built by a consortium of Indonesian companies PT Adhi Karya and PT Waskita Karya working with China Road and Bridge Corp. and China Harbor Engineering Co. Ltd. The total cost of the project, including connecting roads, has been estimated at 4.5 trillion rupiah (US$445 million).

Them from Suramadu, Let us went to the textile center. I do't know what exactly the name of this boutique, even I asked my office friends who went there too, they don't know too. We, especially woman and girl, were bought some an ethnic clothes.

Yeaayyy!!!! Let's Go Shopping!

At night, we have our own time. so, me and 3 of my friends went out at night, looking around Surabaya City. Thanks for Nike and family, our friend in same office in Palembang, but she was in Surabaya for a family gathering with her family, who took us for drove us around this city.
Most of exciting place in Surabaya were closed, during we started to went out when it was 9 p.m.
We had a dinner in a traditional barefoot, but the meals was great. And we also visitted Ciputra World (is it right? I can't remember exactly the name of that mall).

Actually, I want to visit some of an iconic place in Surabaya, but we decided to go back to our hotel cause it was 12 pm. And we should have to make up with stylist at 4 a.m.next morning. But 3 of  our friends, luckly took some photos in front of Surabaya icon statue.

He is our friends who took a picture in front of the Surabaya icon statue. It's a symbol of Surabaya, a crocodile and a shark, the "Sura" and "Baya". That's why It is called with Surabaya.

And Finally! The last day in Surabaya. We had to attend the wedding reception (is it right? LOL:D) in Gedung Graha Samudera Surabaya

Still in front of Gedung Graha Samudera Surabaya, we took some pictures before leaving Surabaya. It was took right after the wedding finished.

Finally after the wedding, we had to go back to our beloved city, Palembang. From Juanda Airport (SBY) to heading to Soekarno Hatta Airport (CGK) next to Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin Airport (PLG), still having a flight with GARUDA INDONESIA AIRLINES , for the fascinating journey.

Then, that's all about our trip to Malang-Surabaya, East Java,that  I can share for now. My Excitting moment.:)  You should add this two cities into your "must visitted Place". Visit The Beautiful Indonesia!
